Project 1: Artifice

Aim of this project:
Study the architectonic elements and formal system of modern and contemporary architecture that date from the early twentieth century. Abstract, formal, and geometrical relations, as materialized in architectonics, will be experienced and understood through diagrams, architectural drawings and sectional models. The purpose of restriction is to allow students to concentrate on the study and understanding of the relatively autonomous nature of architecture.
